Dear Ranger Families,
Salinas conducted a practice LOCKDOWN Drill today. LOCKDOWN drills are conducted to ensure students and staff practice the Standard Response Protocols and know how to respond should a LOCKDOWN occur at our school.
Our students and staff did a great job during the drill, and we will debrief with our local first responders to continue to identify any areas for improvement. Thank you for your continued support.

Dear Ranger Families,
As we maintain our focus on campus safety and security, we wanted to inform you that we will be conducting a practice LOCKDOWN drill this Thursday, Sept. 11th. We want to ensure that all students, staff, and visitors are prepared in the event of any emergency, including what actions should be taken during a LOCKDOWN. Practice of emergency procedures through drills and training can reduce confusion.
We will not be conducting any live scenarios during our LOCKDOWN drill, meaning there will be no loud simulations, blank rounds, or explosive sounds.
“DRILL IN PROGRESS” signage will be posted at front entrance to the school building.
NO VISITORS WILL BE ALLOWED TO ENTER OR EXIT THE BUILDING DURING THE DURATION OF THE LOCKDOWN DRILL.
We invite you to review the I Love You Guys Standard Response Protocols on our district’s safety and security website http://www.judsonisd.org/safetyandsecurity. Thank you for your continued support.
Ms. Allen
Salinas Principal

Hey Ranger Friends and families!
Apex has been on campus this week teaching the students how to level up their leadership! We have had an awesome first week. If you haven't already use your students VIP badge to log your student in and share their page, we are raising funds for student academic programs, campus improvements, and school events! The apex team has an awesome weekend challenge for us, ANY class that JUMPS $10/lap or more will get to pick 2 rewards off of the APEX POSTER. Their class could pick: extra recess, pj day, tech time, hat & shoes off day, pie apex, or mummify apex. We can't wait to see what your student will pick!
Thank you so much for all your support!
